This beautiful hoopoe bird print is one of a set of stamps issued in Dubai in 1968.  The hoopoe has a special place in many UAE residents’ hearts with its distinctive zebra-like crown and comedic character and is one of the UAE’s 465 species of birds, a surprisingly rich number given the relatively dry desert environment.

The image has been lovingly restored and the art print has been produced on luxurious 250gsm art matte paper using archival quality inks.
