Men on the Moon Notebook – Red

Issued in December 1969, this is a set of stamps commemorating the July 1969 Moon Landing of Apollo 11. Space exploration in the 1960s captured the world’s imagination and interest.  When the American astronauts returned from their lunar expedition they went on a global tour to 22 countries where they were met by rapturous crowds.  Inspired by the Moon Landing event, many countries issued commemorative stamps and the emirate of Dubai was no exception!

Written along the bottom of the central stamp are the words left on memorial plaque on the moon’s surface: ‘Here men from the Planet Earth first set foot upon the Moon July 1969 A.D.’

This quality red notebook bears the lovingly restored landscape image of two men on the moon.  The notebooks are A5 sized, have thick cream lined paper, elastic to hold the notebook closed and elastic to hold a pen.  We know you will love them!
